The Google Glass
By Benji B.

Picture
Did you ever wonder how the Google Glass works? Well you’re at the right place. The Google Glass was released in April 2013 at price of $1,500. The creator of the Google Glass name is Sergey Brin. A CNN reporter says, “The goal of the Google Glass is to make technology less of an impediment to daily life.” Click here for  website to learn more about the Google Glass.
On the right side of the glasses there is a projector. Here are a few things you will be able to see. It projects maps, pictures, videos, and recipes. The man in this video tells about the Google Glass while actually using it.

Google Glass Survey

I asked 24 people what they wanted to see when they wear the Google Glass. Most people were over the age of 30. I was surprised that Facebook didn't get any votes! The one that got the most votes was maps by far. The three that got the least were Other, News, and YouTube.

How Music Helps The Brain
 By Ingrid N.

Did you know your brain actually responds differently when you are listening to happy music then when you are listening to sad music?  Our facial expressions change when we think a certain piece of music is happy or sad. Sometimes we just interpret that a piece of music is neutral, or not happy or sad. If you are listening to quiet music, it can improve your creativity. But if you’re listening to loud music it can do the opposite! Check out this cool video about how music helps the brain...

Picture
Playing music exercises your brain, just like running exercises your body. Listening to music may help your brain, but actually playing music engages and improves your entire brain, especially your visual, auditory, and motor cortices. Playing music allows you to be stronger in other everyday activities, such as swimming, dancing, and more! Playing music allows your brain to be a more effective problem solver,in academic and social settings. Dying to learn More? Pokemon Go Plus
By Jack B. & Jack G.

Do you love Pokemon Go? If so, here’s something to help you get better at it. This is a mini device. Who made it? The Pokemon Go company made it. This is better because you can get Pokestops and Pokemon without being on the app. You can also use this device anywhere.
To set up this mini device, you have to hold the white button so it turns on. Go to your settings. Then you have to go to the bluetooth tab and turn it on. Turn on your Pokemon Go Plus by pushing the big white button. Then go back to your phone and wait for an icon to pop up that is called Pokemon Go Plus. If it doesn’t work the first time, then try refreshing the page by swiping the window and try again. Once it is connected, you’re ready to go!
The Pokemon Go Plus device works when the white button turns green. It means a Pokemon has popped up on your screen. You would have to click the green button for the Pokemon Go Plus device to try to catch the Pokemon. When the white button turns red, it means you failed to catch the Pokemon or failed to get the Pokestop. When it turns blue, it means there is a Pokestop and you would have to press the blue button for the Pokemon go plus device to attempt to get the Pokestop. If the Pokemon Go Plus stops working for a long time, it means it is out of charge and you need to charge it. When using this device, always be alert to see what light pops up.
